Optical Diffraction Gratings are critical components in a variety of spectroscopic instrumentation. Diffraction Grating is quite useful in analytical instruments,ranging from food analysis to plastics manufacturing and process quality assurance.
Plane Ruled gratings comprise the majority of optical diffraction gratings used in spectroscopic instrumentation and are especially useful in systems requiring high resolution.
Plane Ruled Grating is also ideal for applications in optical communications,biotechnology,colorimetry,chromatography,and medical instrumentation.
Custom sizes of plane ruled grating, Holographic Concave Grating and Holographic Blazed Grating are available on request. Mark diffraction grating for orientation and optical direction.Maximum ruled area is up to 300x300 mm2 for plane ruled diffraction gratings. For replicated diffraction and transmission gratings the ruling density can be from 20 grooves per millimeter to 2400 grooves per millimeter, wavelength from 0.2 micron to 25 microns.

Plane Ruled Reflective Gratings are available with blaze wavelengths 500 nm or 1000 nm and optimized for use at 350-800 nm or 700-1600 nm respectively. These Plane Ruled Reflective Gratings are characterized by a superior efficiency at their design wavelength compared with holographic gratings. Plane ruled Reflective Diffraction Gratings are an excellent choice for spectroscopy setups using silicon detectors or fiber-optic telecommunication applications for which higher reflectivity in NIR/IR spectral regions is required. Custom sizes are available on request.
