Shape: Performing as an optical window, glass Dome Lens are ideal for commercial applications requiring a protective boundary between two environments. Our Glass Dome Lens are hemispheric in shape making them easy to mount directly to any surface.

Material and Application: Schott N-Bk7 Optical Domes Lens or Hk9 Glass Dome Lens are used primarily in meteorology applications. BK7 offers excellent transmission from 300nm up to 2µm. BK7 is a relatively hard material, with excellent chemical durability. these Schott N-BK7 optical domes lens allow you to easily protect electronic sensors or detectors without sacrificing field of view.
UV fused silica dome lens ( JGS1 dome lens ): For applications operating in the deeper UV range, we offers a range of UV fused silica glass dome lens. Fused silica dome lens are commonly used in underwater applications at extremely high pressures.

Other application for our glass dome lens include meteorology applications, pyranometers, defence applications and as high pressure view ports in underwater cameras and submersibles.
